Private swim lessons
for Kirkland swimmers.
Keep building your swimming, with individual attention to the details of your stroke.
Nicholas Imig coaches teenage and collegiate competitive swimmers, plus adults at every level. All four strokes and individual medley are welcome. Every in-person lesson takes place at Redmond Pool in Redmond, on Sundays by arrangement.

What do you want to carry into your next swim?
Maybe you swim on a team, use a local lap session, or are returning after a break. Bring the stroke question you want to work through. For a 50 or 100 freestyle swimmer, that means making the session about your race and the technique you can practice afterward.
You do not need to move your regular training to Redmond. A private session can give you a manageable focus to take back to the pool where you usually swim. Let Nicholas know what your team coach is already emphasizing, if you have one.
Sprint freestyle and breaststroke are Nicholas’s specialties. Backstroke, butterfly and individual medley swimmers are welcome too. For adults, coaching can start with water confidence and learning to swim, or focus on technique, fitness and Masters racing.
Choosing lessons around Kirkland.
Kirkland’s swimming options include the seasonal outdoor Peter Kirk Pool and programs at Juanita Aquatics Center. If you are continuing after a summer swim season, think about whether you need a regular learn-to-swim class, a place to practice, or focused help with a stroke.
Nicholas’s sessions are individual technique coaching at Redmond Pool. They are arranged separately from Kirkland city programs and Juanita Aquatics Center, and are not offered at either of those venues.

Use this pool address when planning your journey from Kirkland. Check your route from your own starting point rather than relying on a general city-to-city estimate.
Sunday inquiry windows are 3:30–4 p.m. and 5:15–9 p.m. Pacific. Each lesson needs date-specific lane confirmation, and your inquiry does not reserve a time. Tell Nicholas which window could work alongside your travel and regular swimming.
Check the City of Redmond’s pool location information. Wait for your lesson confirmation before making the trip.
