Adult Swim Lessons
in Redmond, WA

Feel more comfortable in the water, refine your technique, or give your next swim a clearer purpose.

Work one-to-one with Nicholas Imig at Redmond Pool. Adults at every level are welcome, whether you are learning to swim, returning after a break, swimming for fitness or working toward a Masters race.

Ask about adult lessons

Tell me where you are starting. Discuss the format and price before committing.

Your starting point belongs in the conversation.

Learning to swim and building confidence

You do not need to describe yourself as a swimmer to inquire. Say what feels comfortable now, what you find difficult and what you would like to work toward. Nicholas can discuss whether individual lessons are a suitable next step and what approach to consider.

Technique, fitness and returning to the pool

If you already swim independently, bring the part of your swimming that feels unclear. The goal might be understanding a stroke, making your practice more purposeful or rebuilding a regular swimming habit.

Masters and adult competition

Describe your event, your current training and what you want to improve. Freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and individual medley are all welcome, with specialties in sprint freestyle and breaststroke.

Understand the change you are working on.

Nicholas’s coaching approach uses questions and clear explanations to connect a technique adjustment to its purpose. Your experience and goals guide the focus, rather than putting every adult into the same lesson plan.

For a swimmer working on technique, that can mean choosing a manageable priority, trying an adjustment with feedback and finding a cue you understand. For a new swimmer, the first conversation is about your starting point and what kind of support would be useful.

There is no fixed number of lessons that suits everyone. Discuss a next step based on your goals and how the coaching is working for you.

Questions before you get in touch.

Can I inquire if I have never learned to swim?

Yes. Adult beginner and water-confidence inquiries are welcome. Describe your starting point and your goal without including medical details in the public form. Fit and lesson arrangements are discussed before anything is confirmed.

Are these lessons also for experienced adults?

Yes. Adults can work on stroke technique, fitness swimming, Masters events or a specific racing goal. You do not need to be a beginner, and you do not need to be on a team.

Do I need to choose a package?

No package is assumed when you inquire. Nicholas will discuss the format, availability and quote with you before you decide whether to proceed.

Can I ask for feedback on race footage instead?

Yes. Online swim coaching and race video review are separate options to discuss. Keep videos and private video links out of the public inquiry form; footage-sharing arrangements are handled separately.

What would make
swimming better for you?

Confidence, a clearer stroke, a purposeful workout or a stronger race. Start with the goal that matters to you.

Start an adult-lesson inquiry

For teenage and collegiate competitors, explore private competitive swim coaching. A parent or guardian should inquire for a minor.
